Minimize the use of public transportation

Thus, it is better to avoid using public transport for your travel. You can drive or have your friend drive you to the airport. Or, you can also take a taxi. Also, don’t forget to always wear a mask even if you are in your own car.

Follow the health protocols 

Even if you are not sick or showing any symptoms, you should always follow the policies and regulations due to the pandemic. You should wear a mask especially in public to reduce the chance of contracting the virus and to protect others. If your country is running out of medical mask, you can make your own from breathable cloth. 

Be mindful with your hands

Do not let them touch random things. Also, make sure to not touch your own face while travelling unless you wash your hands first. Frequently washing hands especially when you move from one place to another is necessary. Today, it is not hard to find a public sink for washing hand. However, you can also bring your own hand-sanitizer just in case you cannot find any sink.

Limit physical contacts

Minimize physical contacts during your domestic travel is necessary. Thus, it is recommended to check into your flight online and download your boarding pass to your phone. Therefore, you can avoid handing the ticket or forgoing any physical contacts. It is also recommended to carry a carry-on bag instead of suitcase. A carry-on will reduce the chance of multiple touch because you are the only person who can. 

Pack your own food and drinks for the travel

Many airlines have limited or restrict food service to reduce physical interactions. Packing your own foods an drinks in a safer option for you to stay safe during travel. Not to mention that it saves your money. If it is possible, it is recommended to stay seated during your domestic flight to increase your safety.
