Don’t pack these things for travel

When travelling, you must have read and seen various writing and articles about what you should pack for a short trip, long trip, honeymoon, etc. However, there are also things you don’t really need to pack regardless of your travel types. Here they are:

Jewelry is unnecessary for travelling. So forget about packing any expensive jewelry into your carry on  bag or suitcase. Even if you are going to have a luxury travel on a cruise, packing expensive jewelry is not recommended. Leave them at home. If you really have to wear them for special occasion, put them in your carry on bag not your suitcase. If you wear engagement rings, make sure to wear it backward so the diamond is not facing the people around you. This way, you won’t attract any unwanted attention.

Ask with your accommodation before packing a hairdryer

Hair dryer is probably one of the least thing you need during travel especially if your itinerary involves outdoor activities most of the time. Women travelers often bring hair dryer for travelling. However, most of accommodations also provide hair dryer so there is no really need to pack it into your suitcase. You can also let your hair dry naturally.

It is also highly recommended to not bring designer luggage because it is like you put a target on your back yourself for a thief to notice you. It is enough to bring generic suitcase that is sturdy and can secure your belongings just fine.
